Jade & Liam
One of the biggest joys I get from being a photographer is the little insights into other families' lives. This is made all the more amazing when I get to see multiple special days of the same group people! Last summer I shot a small lockdown wedding of Nick & Shelia, who were guests at Heather & Liam's wedding in autumn last year. And now I get the honour of shooting Shelia's daughter's wedding! I've said that I will shoot her other daughter's, Kerry, wedding for free as it was her who recommended me to Shelia and Heather in the first place!
Jade & Liam wanted a very relaxed day, mostly a chance to hang out with friends and family. And that is exactly what they got.
The weather was so beautiful all day, the sun shone through the windows of 30 James Street Hotel filling the ceremony with golden light, the cocktail hour on the rooftop bar overlooking the docks was sublime, and the sunset set photos on the waterfront simply stunning.
There was no official entertainment, but their playlist rocked, and the foosball, cornhole and beer pong games kept everyone busy and smiling. Not to mention the amazing macrons and cookies provided by The Coffee Vault!
The day was an utter delight, and I'm so glad I got to capture it.
