For some people the pre shoot may seem a little redundant, but I find it to be a very important part of the process. It gives us time to get to know each other, feel more comfortable working together and seeing what type of shots, angles and poses work best. It means on the wedding day we are much better prepared to get the perfect couple shots, without any nerves or awkwardness. The fact that you will get some gorgeous shots to use on a wedding website, social media or invitations is just a bonus, not to mention it's an opportunity to dress up and head out somewhere nice!

Generally we'll spend up to an hour or so in a pretty location that is special to you. A park, funfair, coastline, or the woods where you proposed. Normally outdoors but not necessarily. We'll wander around and find various spots that act as good backdrops to get a range of different photos and see how best to capture you and your relationship. It's all very laid back and relaxed!
